Research Overview

My research interests reflect my clinical background in palliative and end of life care. I worked as a nurse for many years in specialist palliative care in a number of roles and settings prior to commencing my post within the University. I am currently working as a researcher on the NIHR funded Palliative Care Research Partnership (PalCaRe-NWC). This new clinical and research partnership has been formed to support and encourage palliative care research in the North West Coast area of England. My PhD in Health Research focused on recruitment issues in palliative care trials.
