Remembering David Britt, founder member of LUPIN

David Britt

It is with great sadness that we were told of the death of founding LUPIN member David Britt on 13th July 2019. David had been involved with LUPIN for over a decade and brought a depth of experience and enthusiasm across a broad range of programme activities; from research to selections. A number of the staff team attended his funeral on 24th July and following the service Emma Munks told us more about David’s extraordinary life, including his actions in Dubai which helped a number of individuals who were under severe threat of political imprisonment settle in Britain.

One of these individuals, who remained in contact with David following resettlement, spoke movingly at the service of David’s ongoing positive impact and influence on her life. We will be planting a tree on campus and holding a ceremony for David in the next few months where his son, Adam, will join us to celebrate the life of his father.
