LAEL students present their research at 2nd ICRI-HASS Conference
On 1st and 2nd of June postgraduate students from Lancaster University, Sunway University and National University of Malaysia presented their original research work in the fields of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.
This year the conference was hosted by National University of Malaysia (UKM), Lancaster University’s partner institution. Academic staff from three partner universities contributed to the conference by acting as facilitators for their respective theoretical strands. Namely, Dr. Nur Ainil Sulaiman, National University of Malaysia (Language and Linguistics Strand); Dr. Helmi Norman, National University of Malaysia (Digital Education Strand); Dr Laura Clancy, Lancaster University (Sociology Strand) and Dr Eliza Berezina, Sunway University (Psychology Strand). Students from other universities were also invited to contribute to the conference and to attend it as attendees.
The conference welcomed over 150 attendees from 20 countries and showcased work of 20 PhD students from 8 universities, representing 5 countries.
