Language Testing at Lancaster
Summer school opportunities for those with a professional or academic interest in language testing and assessment.
In addition to our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes the department offers a range of short courses. These include summer schools, postgraduate modules for institutional credit and free online courses.
As an alternative to taking a complete Master's course, you can take our individual specialist postgraduate modules for Institutional credit. These are ideal if you need to develop knowledge and skills in a specific area. Each of these courses can be taken separately, run for one term (three months), and are offered online.

Research summer schools are organised by the ESRC Centre for Corpus Approaches to Social Science (CASS), the recipient of The Queen's Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Education, and UCREL.
We run free online courses in partnership with FutureLearn. These are sometimes referred to as 'MOOCs', or massive open online courses. You can register online to join any of the courses listed below - you just need access to a computer, tablet or mobile phone to learn with us.
