Women In Neuroscience Award 2025 for researcher
A Lancaster Psychology researcher has won the Mentorship award from Women in Neuroscience UK.
Dr Helen Nuttall is a Senior Lecturer in Cognitive Neuroscience where she conducts hearing research in underserved communities, co-hosting the "Drs Confess" podcast, and also fosters inclusive mentorship where early career researchers thrive.
She said: “I feel extremely honoured to have won this award and by Women in Neuroscience UK's recognition that you can strive for world-class research with compassion and kindness and that you can balance strength alongside warmth. I so enjoy seeing my lab members and colleagues exceed their own expectations and being a part of that growth.”
