Profile

I am a funded-PhD student in the Department of Psychology at Lancaster University, funded by the NWSSDTP (PI: Dr Hannah Stewart and Dr Bo Yao). My research investigates whether childrens inner speech is impated by classroom backgound noise, and how this may vary with hearing loss and D/deafness.

Within the Paediatric Listening, Cognition and Neuroscience (PELiCAN) Lab, I have focused on using multiple neuroimaging techniques such as, fNIRS, EEG and MRI. Furthermore, I have worked on nautralistic research methods such as revwing real classrooms and focus groups.
