Research Overview

Stefan Vogt is an experimental psychologist and neuroscientist. He gained a diploma in Psychology at Münster University and received his PhD at Bremen University in 1988. He then worked as a Senior Researcher at the Max-Planck-Institute for Psychological Research in Munich, before joining the Psychology Department in 1995. His research is focussed on relationships between perception, motor imagery, and action, and he uses a range of behavioural and neuroscience methods, kinematic data, reaction times, and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). He received funding by the Leverhulme Trust and the British Academy. The H-index for his approx. 35 publications is H=11.
