Security Lancaster Halloween fundraiser

We asked for donations with three charities in mind: The Trussell Trust foodbank, Afghan refugee charity, and St. John’s hospice. We are so overwhelmed and grateful for all the donations we have received.
We held a competition for the best costume with first, second, and third prizes. Our first prize winner was Ben Simms from the Computing & Communications department, who was dressed as slender man. Our Second prize went to Stephen Mander from the Computing & Communications department, who was dressed in steam punk style clothing with leather belts he had made himself. Our third prize winner was Olivia Draycott from the Law department, who was dressed as a Pokémon trainer.
We also had Dan Prince from the Security Lancaster institute who dressed up as a character from a game called silent hill. I also from Security Lancaster dressed up as a skeleton with spooky makeup, and Julia Carradus from DSI was dressed up as a witch.
We had a wonderful day meeting new people and the event was well-received.
I would just like to say a huge thank you again to everyone that donated to us, to everyone who stopped by to say hello, and of course to everyone who dressed up and took part in our competition.
