Professor Alberto Sanz will continue the 2020-21 BLS seminar series on Wednesday the 10th March at 13:00. "Reactive Oxygen Species: In sickness and Health Till Death Do Us Part".

Alberto is interested in understanding how and why we age and in the development of therapies to prevent, delay or reverse ageing and age-related diseases. His laboratory is interested in understanding how information flows between the mitochondria and the rest of the cell, the way mitochondrial signals contribute to cellular homeostasis and why damaged mitochondria accumulate during ageing.
