About Chinese Tests
This page provides details of forthcoming test dates, how to register, and how to pay for a test.
For those who wish to turn a hobby into an internationally recognised qualification, Lancaster University Confucius Institute is an official test centre for Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi written (HSK) and oral tests (HSKK); and Youth Chinese Tests for school-aged learners (YCT).
These are internationally recognised qualifications for non-native speakers of Chinese and are required for most opportunities to study or work in China.
