Applications have open for you to apply to become a Furness College Rep

We are starting to plan for our arrivals and Welcome Week activities and we need your support. Can you help our new students settle into life at Lancaster?

Furness College is now accepting applications for Welcome Reps 2022.

Being a Welcome Week Rep is a great way to get more involved in college life and to help new students settle in. For many, this is a huge step and a daunting one, your support can help ease their transition.

You will be welcoming incoming students to Furness College and Lancaster University, helping them settle in and find their way around campus.

If you are interested in having a key role in helping our new students find their feet then complete the application form and read the accompanying job specification for further details on what the role involves.

Being a Rep is also a great way to develop new skills and earn 15 points toward the Lancaster Award.

Deadline for applications is Tuesday 1st March.

We will be in touch on Wednesday 9th March to let you know if your application has been successful.

You must be available to attend the group activities on Wednesday 16th March at 6.30pm, complete mandatory online training during the summer vacation, attend a briefing session on Friday 30th September at 3pm and be available during Welcome Week (01/10/2022 - 09/10/22).
