Furness College Memorial Day will be held on Saturday 31 January 2026.
Furness College is proud to host a Memorial Day, as we remember Nick Lewis, Richard Slatter, and other Furness students and alumni who have sadly passed away.
The JCR Exec, together with the football and pool captains and team members, put a lot of effort into running a special day where alumni and current students can come together to enjoy each other’s company and share memories.
We ask that all participants respect the day and what it stands for, and in particular, respect the hard-working students who give up their time to ensure that the day is a success. Please be mindful of alcohol consumption, especially as many people who want to share the day don’t drink alcohol, and we want the event to be as inclusive as possible.
Most of all, we ask that everyone enjoys the day, so that it is symbolic of why Furness College is such a special community for all of us.
