Furness College Facilities | Off-Campus Kitchen

A photograph of the Furness College Off-Campus kitchen, where there are the free tea, coffee, sugar and milk for students as well as a hot and cold zip-tap.

Furness offers a number of different places for you to gather and socialise, all grouped around our courtyard in the main college building.

The Off-Campus Kitchen is a place where our off-campus members of Furness College - staff and students - can go to relax between lectures, workshops, seminars or if you need some downtime between studying or after an exam

.

It is a place where you can make yourself a cup of tea or coffee or refill your water-bottle! There are hot/cold water zip-taps, as well two microwaves, oven with hob, and two fridges.

We have various seating from a sofa, to bar-stools and a main table which seats up to six people.

Tea, coffee, sugar and long-life milk along with cutlery, various plates, cups, pots and pans are available at the start of each term, to set you off and from time to time, we'll put in some freebies too!

If you are not sure where the Off-Campus Kitchen is, then ask any of the College team, JCR or the Porters and we will point you in the right direction!

Please note, the Off-Campus Kitchen is not a bookable space and we do ask that if you use this room to keep it clean and tidy for everyone.
