College Welfare Advisory team

Wellbeing support is available via the College Welfare Advisory team who can be contacted through Wellbeing Connect. When completing the enquiry form, you must specify that you would like to speak or be referred to the Furness College Welfare Advisory team. The College team can offer support and direction on any aspect of your student life. The team provide a range of appointment options and can support your preference, whether that be in-person, via teams, or by telephone call.

College Deanery and Community Assistants

The Dean and Community Assistants can be contacted at furnessdeanery@lancaster.ac.uk.

The team oversee standards and discipline in the college, and help you all have a safe and happy time during your studies. They investigate issues such as noise disturbance, anti-social behaviour, fire safety breaches and conduct flat mediation meetings, as well as address other issues.

If you wish to report a breach of regulations that requires immediate attention (i.e. noise disturbance at night) then please contact the Furness College Porters on 01524 593 714, or you can visit the Porters Lodge to make your report. If the Porter is unavailable then please call the University Security team on 01524 594 541 who will be able to assist you.

24 hour support is available via University Security staff. They are your first port of call in the event of an emergency and can be contacted on 593 714 (Furness Porters) or on 01524 594 541 (Security).
