If you are considering applying for a place on a Master's programme at the Graduate School, you may be able to benefit from our range of scholarships and funding streams. We are pleased to offer a range of scholarships to potential Master's students.

Peter John Vincent Geography Prize Bursary

If you are a Lancaster University final year geography student applying for one of LEC’s taught Master’s degrees, you may be eligible for a prize of £1500. For each of our Masters’ degrees, we will award the prize to the graduate with the highest overall mark in either geography, human geography, or physical geography. That’s six prizes in total that may be awarded.

You don’t have to do anything. Once you have secured your place on your chosen LEC Master’s, you will automatically be considered for the prize and notified if you are successful.

  • Alumni loyalty scholarship

    10% off fees for all Taught Master's degrees if you are a Lancaster graduate.

  • Postgraduate loan scheme

    The UK Government offers postgraduate loans of up to £12,858 to Master's level students. A Postgraduate Master's Loan can help with course fees and living costs while you study a postgraduate Master's course.
