Malcolm Joyce holds a Personal Chair in Nuclear Engineering at Lancaster University, is Cross-faculty Associate Dean for Research and was previously Associate Dean for Research in FST and Head of the Department of Engineering from 2008-2015.
Professor James Taylor

James Taylor holds a Personal Chair in Control Engineering at Lancaster University. He is Impact Champion for the School of Engineering and Director of the Nuclear Science and Engineering Research Group.
Dr Xiandong Ma

Dr Xiandong Ma received his BEng in Electrical Engineering from Jiangsu University in 1986 and MSc in Power Systems and Automation in Nanjing Automation Research Institute (NARI).
Dr Andrew Parker

Professor Stephen Marshall

Stephen is a Professor in the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering where he is also Director of the Hyperspectral Imaging (HSI) Centre.

Patrick Chard (Mirion Technologies)

Patrick joined Harwell Laboratory and achieved a PhD in Physics, in 1991, developing advanced neutron Non-Destructive Assay techniques for waste assay. He acts as Principle Consultant for Mirion Technologies (formerly Canberra).
Darren Lee (NNL)

Darren Lee completed a two year post-doctoral fellowship at Liverpool University in 1996 and subsequently worked in the nuclear industry for BNFL and latterly National Nuclear Laboratory (NNL).
Neil Cockbain (NNL)

Neil has been employed by National Nuclear Laboratory since 1987 with experience in software/systems engineering. He has been supporting various parts of Sellafield site, including THORP and Magnox plants, on physical and chemical instrumentation.
