You are required to submit a personal statement with your UCAS application.
This should reflect who you are and demonstrate what you've done to explore medicine as a career, including any relevant work, voluntary, or caring experience, particularly in healthcare settings. These experiences can help you demonstrate what you've learned about being a doctor, your suitability for the profession, and your commitment to helping others. The Medical Schools Council provide further advice and guidance about what to include in your personal statement.
Finally, you will be assessed on your fitness to practice.
