Lonsdale College is looking to appoint Assistant Deans for the academic year 2022/23.

Applications are welcome from current postgraduates and final year undergraduates who are intending to continue or commence full-time postgraduate study at Lancaster University in October 2022.

Candidates must be a full time Postgraduate student for the full year they are in post and should not be away from the University on substantial placement during the year. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept applications from students who are on 4-year integrated masters and have an Undergraduate status.

REQUIREMENTS AND REWARDS:

Hours of work: maximum of 11.5 hours per week on an 11-month fixed term contract, which includes Christmas & Easter vacation periods (Sept 2022-July 2023).

(NB: for Tier 4 international students these 11.5 hours contributes to the 20 hours of work permitted whilst in the UK).

Assistant Deans are required to reside on campus in the college of appointment.

Rate of pay: Grade 3 (£18,212-£19,623) pro rata, plus annual leave.
