University Mental Health Day on 12 March is your chance to pause, recharge, and put yourself first. Join us at Barker House Farm, Cartmel College for a day of free wellbeing activities, creative sessions, and relaxation. Drop in to our crafting corner, take part in guided sessions, and enjoy light refreshments throughout the day.

Practitioner Sessions - booking required

10.15–11.00: Yogalates with Ali Moorhouse. A fusion of Hatha Yoga and Matwork Pilates to strengthen, stretch, and re-balance your body.

12.00–13.00: Sound Bath Relaxation with Janet Holt. Immerse yourself in the calming sounds of Himalayan and crystal singing bowls, gongs, and therapeutic percussion to clear the mind.

14.00–15.00: Meditation with Olga Gomez. Guided mindfulness practice to help you build calm into a busy schedule.

Zen Zone - drop-in, no booking needed

10.00–16.30

Visit the Zen Zone for:

  • Mindfulness colouring
  • Arts and crafts
  • Watercolour painting
  • Aroma-touch and Shiatsu massage taster sessions from 12.00-14.00 (10 minutes each)

Refreshments

10.00 – Danish pastries and fruit to start your day

13.00–14.00 – Vegan soup and bread roll for lunch

Light snacks available throughout the day
