Join Lancaster STEM students at The Storey Institute for two nights of fantastic lectures!
This is an exciting opportunity to listen to Lancaster University undergraduates presenting science talks for a wide, general audience. Taking place across two evenings on Thursday 7th March and Tuesday 12th March, these events will showcase engaging and accessible talks on topics drawn from across the sciences. Each evening will feature four 15-minute talks by student speakers, plus a guest talk from a University Lecturer on a topic of interest. The student presentations form part of a new Teaching, Outreach and Public Engagement (TOPE) module recently launched by the Faculty of Science and Technology at Lancaster University. TOPE provides Lancaster undergraduates with the opportunity to engage in the community and communicate their science to a general audience. Come along to be entertained and informed about science!
Thursday 7th March

- How significant is 3 degrees global warming?
- Volcano eruption! The fire from hell.
