To help participants plan their travel, we expect many participants to arrive on Sunday evening. The academic schedule will run from 9am Monday until 5pm Friday. On Monday evening there will be a wine reception. There will be no talks on Wednesday afternoon to allow for the usual excursion and conference dinner. Following the established tradition there will be a concert on the Tuesday evening.
Following the tradition, there will be a concert organised by BCC musicians.
There will be a conference dinner on the Wednesday evening at Forrest Hills (pictured below) consisting of a barbeque buffet. Places are limited - to sign-up for this dinner at a cost of £30 per person (including free drink and coach travel to venue) follow this link. Update 1st April 2022 - sold out. You can still indicate interest when pre-registering and if places become available, we will let you know.
On the Wednesday afternoon there will be a coach trip to Brockhole on Windermere in the English Lake District.
The University provides information on travelling to Lancaster. The BCC will principally be based in the George Fox Building (GFX on the campus map).

The organisers have reserved a number of on-campus rooms arriving Sunday and departing Friday at a rate of £48.30 p/night. Update 10th May - this accommodation is now sold out. The Visit Lancaster site provides links to a variety of other local accommodation.
We are grateful to the LMS, the Clay Institute, Heilbronn Institute and Foundation Compositio Mathematica for providing funding. If you are based in a developing country, are an early career researcher (within 5 years of your PhD and not yet holding a permanent or tenure track academic position) or are a UK based PhD student, then you are eligible to apply for this funding to cover part, or all, of your accommodation and travel expenses. Note that the funding is limited, hence if you have access to other funding then please use that.
Applicants should submit a short CV (including a publication list) and, in the case of PhD students and postdoctoral researchers, a letter of support from your supervisor. To receive support, you must commit to paying the registration fee and giving a contributed talk at the conference.
The deadline to apply is February 28th 2021 and applications should be e-mailed to bcc2022@lancaster.ac.uk. Results will be announced by March 14th ahead of the registration deadline. Late applications will only be accepted should funds remain unspent.
For UK-based mathematicians with caring duties the LMS has a Caring Supplementary Grant scheme which allows participants to apply for help covering caring costs.
