Johnson Matthey Technology Review is Johnson Matthey’s international journal of research exploring science and technology in industrial applications to help address global challenges.

The interdisciplinary team of industry/university-based researchers facilitated the production of a special issue of a peer-reviewed academic journal (Johnson Matthey Technology Review) devoted to industrial biotechnology. The contributions to the special issue include a mixture of spotlights, reviews, and research papers, spanning the breadth of basic science and engineering to applied to industrial biotechnology, with authors from academic and industrial backgrounds, and of interest to a broad readership as highlighted in the editorial article.

The project enabled the academics to understand some of the opportunities for engagement with industry partners and to develop professional networks which may unlock opportunities for future research and development activities to benefit the UK’s economy/society.
