Profile
Dr Amy Gibbons is the Faculty Impact Manager for the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST). Her role is to lead the development and delivery of impact strategy and case studies and support researchers across FST in improving the outcomes of their research. Dr Gibbons has previous experience in this area, having led the submission of the first Research Excellence Framework impact return in 2014 for the Management School. Immediately prior to joining FST, Dr Gibbons was the Programme Manager for the Wave 2 Growth Hub Programme and Head of the Knowledge Exchange and Research Group, in Lancaster University Management School, working with 15 city regions to develop links to research and SME engagement at Lancaster University. She completed her PhD in the Department of Organisation, Work & Technology, examining the classification of documents, under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, in public bodies.
