Outdoor facilities at Sport Lancaster are available to book on a Pay As You Play basis, and group bookings must be made in advance by contacting Sport Lancaster. All facilities are bookable throughout the year, during term time and vacation periods, for Members, Non-Members, and children.
The outdoor facilities at Sport Lancaster include competition-standard pitches and courts for various sports, including:
- 8 Tennis Courts (4 full-size, floodlit)
- 5 Floodlit Netball Courts
- 2 Floodlit Multi-Use Games Areas (MUGAs) for 5-a-side football, netball, basketball, and more

The Woodland Walk & Trim Trail
The Woodland Walk provides a route through 2.6 miles of woodland canopy surrounding the Lancaster University campus, which can be enjoyed by all levels of ability. The Trim Trail, situated on the route, is designed to improve the cardiovascular system and test strength, endurance, coordination, and agility. Both facilities are free to use.
