Personal Training

Personal Training sessions at Sport Lancaster are 60 minutes long for £35 per session, or £315 for a block of ten sessions. Clients on Personal Training do not need to have a membership at Sport Lancaster.

Candice has had a lifelong passion for sport and physical activity which began with competitive athletics for the county and being sporty at school. With a foundation of knowledge and experience in various activities, Candice began training in the gym when she was 16 and has never looked back.

During her undergraduate degree in Sport and Exercise, Candice completed a placement as Assistant Sport Scientist with Morecambe Football Club’s Academy, which led her to become a Strength & Conditioning Coach and Sport Scientist for Morecambe Ladies Football team.

Laura has been working in the health and fitness industry for over 16 years as a Personal Trainer and Pilates Instructor. Each week, she works with over 100 individuals in one-to-one sessions and group exercise classes, priding herself on nurturing an inclusive community.

Lee achieved notable success when he proudly represented Great Britain and Wales in Olympic Weightlifting, where he set (and still holds) Welsh records. This experience gave him a deep understanding of the dedication required to sustain a high performance in sports, which he channels into assisting others in reaching their goals.

Matt assists individuals in identifying their goals, whether that is weight loss, muscle building, or training for a specific sporting event, he works collaboratively with clients to support them in being the best version of themselves.

Matt’s first sporting love was hockey, which led him to focus on cardiovascular and strength training to ensure optimal performance. His current training approach is to build muscle and maintains his interest in fitness with varied programmes and continuous progression.Matt’s diverse and easy-to-follow programmes encourage his clients to continue making progress outside of their training sessions.

Zak specialises in performance-based training and has a master’s degree in Strength and Conditioning. Zak assists individuals in achieving their goals and becoming the strongest and most confident versions of themselves, whether that’s excelling on the field or establishing sustainable habits for long-term wellbeing.

Zak has an affinity for rugby, both league and union (but no sport is off-limits for him), and has applied his training skills at various institutions, including St Helens Rugby League Academy, Ealing Trailfinders in London, and currently dedicates his time to FC United of Manchester Women's First Team.
