Event Details

Students staying on campus are invited to meet new people and enjoy playing badminton during the University’s Summer vacation period, without paying for a full membership.

These sessions don’t require a booking, and students can turn up at the sports centre during a Turn Up & Play session to play badminton or table tennis, with all equipment provided. The sessions are suitable for all abilities, whether you're a seasoned badminton player, or just want to have a laugh with friends.

Sessions are available from 11.00am until 1.00pm every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday during the Summer vacation period, and cost £2 per person.

Please note that during busy periods, participants may be asked to rotate and share court time to ensure that everyone gets an opportunity to play.
