New enrolment for the National Indoor Climbing Award Schemes (NICAS®) at Sport Lancaster opens at 8am on Monday, 16 January, for the term commencing on Monday 6 January 2025.

Sport Lancaster is proud to deliver National Indoor Climbing Award Schemes (NICAS®), a nationally-recognised introduction to climbing, providing a gateway to learning more and developing a love for the sport.

New enrolment opens at 8am on Monday 16 December 2024 for the 12-week Spring Term, commencing on Monday 6 January 2025. Please note there will be no sessions during Half Term (Monday 17 - Sunday 23 February).

The NICAS sessions are split into different age groups; 7-9 yrs, 10-13 yrs, and 14+ yrs, so that the instructor can focus on the needs and abilities of each participant in the session.

7-9 years

12-week tuition: £102

Upon enrolment, participants should choose one day of the week which suits them.

• Monday, 5.30-6.30pm
• Tuesday, 4-5pm
• Wednesday, 4-5pm
• Thursday, 4-5pm
• Sunday, 9.30-10.30am

10-13 years

12-week tuition: £150

Upon enrolment, participants should choose one day of the week which suits them.

• Tuesday, 5.30-7pm
• Wednesday, 5.30-7pm
• Thursday, 5.30-7pm
• Saturday, 10.30am-12pm

14+ years

12-week tuition: £150

Upon enrolment, participants should choose one day of the week which suits them.

• Tuesday, 8-9.30pm
• Sunday, 11am-12.30pm
