HYROX timetable launched at Sport Lancaster

Sport Lancaster is introducing a new programme of HYROX classes, designed to provide a structured and inclusive training experience for all participants.
Each coached session follows a consistent format, beginning with an introduction and warm-up, followed by a HYROX-style workout.
The timetable includes a range of options to accommodate different preferences, including early-morning sessions, beginners' classes, a women’s-only session, staff-specific classes, and a social-focused Friday evening session.
HYROX
The baseline, coached HYROX session takes place daily, consisting of an introduction to the session, before warming up and commencing the workout.

Beginners HYROX
The Beginners' session is aimed at those looking to start their HYROX journey, held during off-peak times when the gym is quieter.
Participants will learn the fundamentals and techniques required for each movement, followed by a 'workout of the day'. This will be tailored to suit each individual.

Women's HYROX
Women's HYROX mirrors the baseline class, consisting of an introduction to the session, before warming up and commencing the workout. Sport Lancaster is dedicated to creating an inclusive space where all gym users feel confident to train.

Staff HYROX
Lancaster University staff members are encouraged to meet like-minded colleagues at the Staff HYROX class, which mirrors the baseline class and consists of an introduction to the session, before warming up and commencing the workout.
- Thursday, 6.15am
Singles Club HYROX
More people are choosing the gym over the bar to connect and socialise. Sport Lancaster's Singles Club HYROX class is designed for individuals looking to meet new people in a fun, active environment on a Friday night.
This session mirrors the baseline HYROX class and consists of an introduction to the session, before warming up and commencing the workout.

How to book
HYROX classes will be included in the Peak and Off-Peak Membership package at Sport Lancaster or can be accessed by Non-Members via Pay As You Play.
Sport Lancaster Members can book using the online portal, Pay As You Play participants can book by calling reception, 01524 510600, or signing up via the online portal.
