Research Overview

My current research interests are broadly environmental. They include carbon capture and storage techniques in natural gas / oil reservoirs using a combination of noble gases and stable isotopes (C,N,O); deep carbon cycles and the role of biogenic / abiogenic processes; ancient crustal fluid systems; noble gases as a tool for tracing biogeochemical and physical processes in groundwater systems; evolution of the atmosphere and hydrosphere over geological time; planetary science.
