Research Overview

I am interested in ecosystem ecology, ecosystem responses to disturbance and changing environmental conditions, and both microhabitat and microtopographical variation. My research focuses on the role of snow cover and the impacts of reduced snow cover duration on carbon cycling in alpine snow beds. I'm based at Lancaster Environmental Centre and the James Hutton Institute, as part of the STARS Centre for Doctoral Training.
