Enjoy a day in the lovely lakeside town of Bowness-on-Windermere on Saturday 17 January 2026. This is a lovely way to start the new year, get out into the fresh air and beat the winter blues.

The town of Bowness-on-Windermere sits on the shore of Lake Windermere, England's biggest lake. With plenty of shops, places to eat, lovely walks, and stunning views across the lake, there is plenty to enjoy on this day trip.

The Coach will leave campus from outside the Chaplaincy Centre at 8.30am and will leave Bowness on Windermere at 4.30pm to return to campus.
