Welcome
We love to welcome our former students back to Grizedale, or hear how you are getting on. We hope you take away many fond memories and want to maintain your association with us.
We hold several memorial events every year where teams of alumni play current students at various sports and activities. The Alumni and Development Office also run a full programme of events through the year that appeal to a wide range of interests.
Grizedale at 40
In 2016, Grizedale College turned 40 years old. We held a special celebration to mark the event. If you have any photos you'd like to share, do get in touch!

Jacques Browne memorial game
Every year the College football team play a game against an alumni XI in memory of former Gz Football B-Team captain, Jacques Brown. The game is usually held in Lent term and there’s always a hog roast to accompany it. The winning team is recognised in the bar where there’s a shirt in Jacques' honour and an honours board with the winning team.
College reunion, 2017
In 2017, we held a reunion to welcome former Grizedale Principal, Bob Bliss back to the University.
