Are you thinking about start-up or the Start-up Visa? Do you have an idea but not sure if it’s got the potential to be a business? Maybe you’ve already got a side-hustle but you’re looking to take it further? Perhaps you’re just curious about what we do at Work in Progress?
Whichever it is, come and join us to find out about the support available through Lancaster University, get some instant feedback and pointers on how to progress what you are doing, and find out whether the Start-up Validation Programme is for you right now. For international students looking to start businesses in the UK, we’ll explain your visa options and how the endorsement process works at Lancaster.
Regardless of who you are and where you are up to, we’re keen to hear about what you are working on, and will do our best to answer any questions you might have, to help to demystify the start-up process and avoid some of the common pitfalls associated with start-ups.
The session will comprise an informal presentation with plenty of opportunities for Q&A, followed by a limited number of slots for a 1-2-1 chat with a member of the Work in Progress team.
Our programme of events continues to change based on government and university guidance around Covid-19. Please note that events may change as a result of this, and make sure you check specific activity information to confirm whether it will be delivered online or in person.
This event is part of the U Start project which is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Northern Powerhouse scheme.
