Colleges | World Mental Health Day

The Colleges held a variety of events during week one as part of their 'Wobble-Week' which was to acknowledge that the start of term is the time in the academic year when you may be feeling a little overwhelmed, perhaps you are missing home, struggling with British culture, or worried about how you will manage your studies regardless of which year of study you are in. You are not alone.
Friday 10 October marks World Mental Health Day, and it is a reminder of the importance of good mental health and the need to prioritise and invest in your mental health.
A range of support is available to you, and remember it's okay to ask for help, no matter what you, or anyone else is going through.

Our College Advisory teams provide pastoral support and can offer someone to talk to about any aspect of student life, such as homesickness, wellbeing, money worries, personal problems, or any other issues. College advisors are friendly and approachable and can also refer you to other services, where required.
You can access this support by contacting your college directly. You should expect to speak to a College Advisor about what's on your mind and for them to give you some guidance and signposting on possible solutions. An A - Z list of all College Advisor Teams is also available online.
