Day trip to Lake District

Saturday 14th June

Open to students and staff from all colleges.

Take a break from campus and Lancaster with a day out in the beautiful Lake District. Including a stop at Acorn Bank, followed by the market town of Keswick, on the shore of Derwentwater.

£21 per person. Tickets via the E-STORE

You will receive an automatic receipt of payment from the e-store – this is your ticket.

During office hours (9am-3pm Monday-Friday), you will also be sent an email containing confirmation of the itinerary. If you do not receive an email from gradcolltrips@lancaster.ac.uk, then it is probably in your junk mail/spam folder. This information will also be available on the teams group, student portal, and libcal for you to view at any time – so don’t worry.

Itinerary:

08:45 - Town pickup (South Road, south bound side RLI bus stop)

09:00 - campus departure (Pendle Avenue)

10:00 (approx.) - Arrive at Acorn Bank

13:00 - Back on the coach to travel to Keswick

13:20 – In Keswick

17:00 – Back on the coach to travel home.

19:00 - (approx.) - campus drop off, followed by a drop off in the city

Price includes coach travel only. Entry to Acorn Bank is via our National Trust group membership and will cost you nothing extra.

Please also note: Ticket sales will remain open until Friday 13th June or until they sell out (whichever is sooner).

NON-STUDENT GUESTS:

Adult guests who are not students are welcome to join the trip with you – their ticket will cost the same amount.

University staff are welcome to join the trip, and bring their partner/children as well – simply purchase additional tickets via the e-store.

CHILDREN:

Children under 2 years old can be carried on a parent’s knee for free on the coach.

Children aged 2 years - 15 years old will pay £18
