Colleges | The Owl's Nest - Reading Corner

A photograph of a white knitted background with a small circular brown plate which has a cookie and a mug of hot chocolate, to the right of this is an open book and a graphic of two brown owls perched on a branch.

Lancaster University students are invited to unwind, connect, and get inspired at The Owls Nest Reading Corner, a new informal space for book lovers of all kinds.

The series launches on Wednesday 21 January 2026 (week 12) in A29, Furness College, and will run every week until the end of Lent term.

Drop in anytime between 3–6pm to read, share insights, or simply enjoy the atmosphere as an informal book club begins to take shape. Whether you stay for ten minutes or the whole afternoon, everyone is welcome.
