Trip to the Ulverston Dickensian Christmas Festival

Sunday 29th November

Itinerary:

08:45 – Campus departure (North-East Drive, behind County Main)

09:00 – Town pickup (Southbound RLI Bus Stop, South Road)

10:00 (approx.) – Arrive in Ulverston

17:00 – Leave Ulverston and travel home

18:00 (approx.) – Drop off in Lancaster city centre followed by drop off on campus

Please note, this isn't a guided tour, so we would recommend you have a look to see what's on and plan what you'd to do on the day. The day includes numerous performances with people dressed up in attire inspired by the works of Charles Dickens, a variety of goods and food stalls, and you can expect to see unusual gifts and festive food. Come along and enjoy some festive cheer at one of the country's most popular Christmas festivals.

Price includes coach travel only.

NON-STUDENT GUESTS:

Adult guests who are not students are welcome to join the trip with you. Their ticket will cost the same amount.

University staff are welcome to join the trip and bring their partner/children as well. Simply purchase tickets via the Online Store.

CHILDREN:

Children under 2 years old can be carried on a parent’s knee for free on the coach.
