Join us for our monthly WiP seminar for the Environmental Science Research Group. We will hear a selection of lightning and long talks from group members.
The purpose of the WiP seminars is to give us regular opportunities to meet each other, introduce our research, and develop collaborations and links across the research group. These are deliberately informal sessions, and there is no expectation that presentations are polished or complete.
We will have two types of presentation:
- Lightning talks (2–3 minutes): a brief introduction to you and your research area, and what you are currently working on
- Longer talks (~10 minutes + 5 minutes for questions): ideal for work in progress, conference practice, or developing ideas
WiPs are a space to:
- Get feedback on early-stage analysis
- Ask for help with something that isn’t working
- Crowdsource future research ideas
