Research Overview

My research interests lie in atmospheric dispersion modelling of volcanic ash. I use NAME, the UK Met Office's Numerical Atmospheric Dispersion Modelling Environment, working to develop optimised HPC workflows for producing probabilistic ash forecasts that combine source term, model and meteorolgical sources of uncertainty. I also develop advanced 4D visualisation workflows of model output.
