Research Overview

I am an interdisciplinary PhD researcher that primarily focuses on wildfire in the UK. I am particularly interested in emerging controversies where wildfire and biodiversity intersect, sparking new debates across peatlands and forests. I use qualitative research methods such as interviews and focus groups. Along with my PhD, I am also a teaching associate at Lancaster Unversity.

Key themes: Pyrogeography, Forest Ecology, Power/Governance, Knowledges, Biodiversity (Pyrodiversity), Human/Non-Human Interactions, Regeneration/Rewilding, Climate Change.
