PhD student, Associate LecturerResearch Overview
I am a PhD student researching the impacts of climate change on the thermal ecology of cold adapted butterflies. My research focusses on quantifying the thermoregulatory ability of northern butterfly species, specifically Erebia epiphron, Erebia aethiops and Aricia artaxerxes, and identifying population level differences. I am also interested in understanding how this knowledge of the thermal ecology of these species can be applied to practical land management decisions and conservation strategies.
