Research Overview

I'm a PhD student with interests in Human–Computer Interaction (HCI). I'm supervised by Hans Gellersen as part of the GEMINI ERC project and I also work closely with Pavel Manakhov.

My current research explores the challenges for interaction and perception that we face when walking in augmented reality and how they might be mitigated by carefully choosing the techniques we use to place 3D user interfaces. I'm especially intrigued by how research from other fields (e.g. vision science) and unexpected contexts can help us to understand HCI problems.
