On the 25 June, ELSA members will meet in Bowness-on-Windermere (UK) to discuss legal and ethical aspects of interpretable-by-design solutions based on deep learning in the light of the EU AI law. Partners of ELSA’s Work Package 3 will present their views on the topic of the workshop. This will be followed by a panel discussion on the obstacles that current ML/AI solutions present with regard to the EU AI law. In the afternoon, participants will discuss how the legal requirements can be put into practice and plans for the future.
