About us
The identification, assessment, and the mitigation of vulnerabilities and threats, constitute essential artefacts for the provisioning of security. The Cyber Systems Research Group (CSRG) undertakes both fundamental and empirically-driven applied research, addressing the susceptibility of complex socio-technical systems to compromises. The CSRG group advocates a data-centric view to comprehensively explore “system-level” susceptibility life-cycles. We research the interplay of threats, vulnerability assessment, and effect-based impact analysis, to provide for dependable and resilient services in modern computing infrastructures. Our focus areas include Cyber Physical Systems, Large-Scale Networks, and Complex Virtualized Environments.
We are also actively engaged with our Cyber Security Research Centre. This centre is an NCSC/EPSRC Academic Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security Research (ACE-CSR).
