Research Overview

My research interests involve the study of water harvesting in arid and semi-arid lands and how remote sensing could be better utilized to site water harvesting structures. Generally, the resolution of freely available digital elevation terrain data obtained by satellites and suitable to ascertain the topographic details of the land in enough detail to assess the suitability of many water harvesting techniques. My research focuses on increasing the resolution of digital elevation models by inferring land slope using ‘clues’ created by geomorphic processes.
