The School of Computing and Communications (SCC) at Lancaster University is an international centre of excellence. It was ranked 14th in the UK for research power, with 94% of our research being deemed world-leading or internationally excellent in REF2021. SCC is a research-intensive environment comprising of over 60 academics and 130 researchers, with a grant portfolio exceeding £21m from a wide range of sources including EPSRC, Innovate UK, the EU and industry.
