RELIGION, SPIRITUALITY AND THE ECOLOGICAL CRISIS

Religion has often said to be a contributor to ecological crisis, but religion has been changing dramatically over the last few decades. Distinguished Prof. Linda Woodhead, has spent her whole career studying religion and belief around the world. In this talk she will consider how current trends in religion and spirituality may help – or hinder – our coming to terms with the crisis we face. Linda Woodhead is Distinguished Professor of Religion and Society at Lancaster University, and a Director of the Institute for Social Futures
