Presentation by Ben Sykes Executive Director of the Ecological Continuity Trust
Ecological Continuity Trust (ECT) was formed in 2008, as a direct response to the loss of long-term experiments throughout the UK. Its vision is to develop a strategic network of long-term ecological experiments. This includes safeguarding existing high quality experiments and data, whilst also ensuring new facilities are planned for the long-term.
The talk is an explanation of the ECT vision and role, a description of the current site register and a case study, Buxton Climate Change Impacts Laboratory, which shows what ECT are about.
