We are also seeking contributions to our “Bake Off” competition* that will be on display during lunch break (12:30 until 13:20). We would like our budding Mary Berry’s to bring in creations on the theme of “our environment”, taking it as broadly as they wish! Some ideas to get you started: agriculture, tree, river, energy, beehive, bird, globe, urban development… Get in contact with Ali Birkett (a.birkett1@lancaster.ac.uk) and Bitten Brigham (b.brigham@lancaster.ac.uk) if you would like to get involved!
* Don't worry, there's no baking in a tent involved! Simply bake your contribution at home and bring it in, along with a card displaying the list of the ingredients used. Contributions will be judged at lunchtime and then cut to share between us all.
