Why did you choose to study at LUMS?
I had always dreamt of studying in the UK, and when it came time to choose a university, LUMS stood out as the perfect place to bring that dream closer to reality. Its academic environment, international exposure, and strong reputation made it feel like the right fit – not just as a stepping stone, but as a place where I could grow both personally and professionally.
What was the best thing about your course?
The best part of my MSc in Marketing was how practical and industry-focused it was. I loved how we got to work on real-world case studies and campaigns – it made everything we learned feel relevant and applicable. Plus, the faculty were super supportive and brought a lot of real experience.
What/who inspired you most at LUMS and why?
Mary Hargreaves was by far the most inspiring person I met at LUMS. Whether it was in the classroom when I had endless questions or during the intense dissertation period, she was always there – patient, supportive, and genuinely invested in my growth. She felt more like a friend than just a lecturer. When I shared my plans to return to my home country after graduation to launch my own business, she encouraged me wholeheartedly and gave me the confidence to chase that dream. Her support meant the world to me.

What impact did scholarships or funding have on your degree experience?
The scholarship I received made a huge difference in my experience at LUMS. It not only eased the financial burden but also allowed me to fully focus on my studies and make the most of every opportunity without constant stress.
